Meet Kelly!

I am a junior Community Health major from Eldersburg, MD. I fell in love with the UMD Alternative Breaks program after participating in last year’s ASB trip to Huntington, WV, and am beyond excited to be a part of this year’s to NYC! Though I am currently studying public health, I hope to go on to nursing school and pursue a career as a nurse practitioner, but would also like to someday break into the public health sector at either the local or global level. I love to get involved with volunteering and other organizations on campus, but also love to hike, play guitar, spend time with my family and friends, and spend as much time laughing as possible.
